Hello everyone,
Here are a couple of posters from our unit teaching was and were! The green poster is an open refrigerator with food cards inside. We read the book Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and then talked about what the characters ate. We then talked about what our families had eaten the day before. Lot’s of conversation using was and were and the food cards made a great manipulative by using wiki sticks on the backs.
